Mazal Tov Isn’t What You Think

Mazal can be used when saying wheel of fortune, galgal mazal (גלגל מזל) — or fortune cookie, ugiyat mazal (עוגית מזל) — and it can even be used for a woman’s name as just Mazal (מזל).
Tov (טוב) is amazing to use for other greetings. You can use it to say good morning, boker tov (בוקר טוב) — or good night, laila tov (לילה טוב).
