  • Try to say the hardest Hebrew sentence

    The sentence goes like this, "Sarah shara shir sameach, shir sameach shara Sarah" (שָׂרָה שָׁרָה שִׁיר שָׂמֵחַ, שִׁיר שָׂמֵחַ שָׁרָה שָׂרָה), which means, “Sarah sang a happy song, a happy song was sung by Sarah.” Now, let’s try reading it in Hebrew...  To help you learn this sentence, you can listen to one of our teachers saying it and then repeat after him.     In Hebrew, the letter Shin (ש) can be pronounced as either "Sh" or "S". Look again at the sentence – each word starts with Shin (ש), but the sound keeps changing! You need to practice a little in order to say these consonants correctly.
